Mass for Christ College held in School Chapel
Mass
was celebrated in the chapel at Christ College, attended by pupils and
staff.
Father Tom Smith, Assistant Parish Priest from St. Gregory’s and St. Thomas More’s Parishes, celebrated the Mass, and reminded students what a privilege the ceremony is.
He also spoke about the importance of love, and how it is often the small everyday gestures that demonstrate our love for others.
Students took part in the Mass with readings and musical contributions.
Father Tom said: “It is always a great pleasure to celebrate Mass with the young people of Christ College.”
Also
present was Brendan Seery, who is on a month-long pastoral placement
with the parishes from the Royal English College in Valladolid, Spain,
were he is training for the priesthood, and said what a welcoming
atmosphere had had experienced during his stay.
