Christ College Girls Enjoy a Fruitful Start to the School Year

 

 

Three year 7 girls at Christ College enjoyed the fruits of their labours when their designs for a new healthy smoothie came out on top.

 

Tyrana Patterson, Maddie Chambers and Beth Ganthwaite all won juicing machines of their own when they invented recipes and created the marketing for their new smoothie ideas as part of a healthy Living Day at the school.

 

Tyrana branded her blueberry and raspberry smoothie as ‘The Taste of Britain’, Beth’s recipe called for pineapples and strawberry’s, while Maddie’s Comet brand smoothies boast of ‘100% Yummyness from Outer Space!”

 

The girls said how the enjoyed the way everyone joined in on Healthy Living Day, and were very excited to have won.

 

Business Teacher at Christ College Leo Kelly said: “The girls have really excelled themselves in creating a smoothie, a company name and a poster for their product. Well done to them all.”
