Christ College Pioneers Specialist IT Diploma

 

Pupils from Kingsmead School and Star College joined Christ College Students in taking part in a revolutionary new IT Specialist Diploma.

 

The value of the Diploma is that it teaches IT skills in genuinely work-related contexts, and has an equivalency of 7 GCSE’s.

 

Head of ICT & Business, Colin Revell said: "At Christ College we all work hard to make sure that we continue to offer the very best education for all of our students. The diploma not only offers us the opportunity to continue with that philosophy, but also brings in students from other establishments. This can only be beneficial for all concerned. The course is designed to more fully prepare our students for further education and work and I look forward to having the pleasure of teaching within this exciting new framework."
