Sporting Fun Day Draws the Crowds at Christ College
‘Don’t Spectate - Participate’ was the order of the day as Christ College held a Sports Fun Day.
The event focussed on the schools Sport Centre facility, and families attending had the chance to try their hands at a number of different sporting activities.
There was plenty of variety for the young and young at heart: A veritable inflatable village of bouncy castles, face painting, “sumo” wrestling and street dance, as well as a presence by regular users of the Sports Centre facilities such as the Cotswold Fencing Club, the CST New Image Majorettes and the Cheltenham Harriers.
Says Sports Centre Manager Dave Potts: “We’re here to have fun, but also to show what a valuable facility we have here at Christ College for the local community”.
Mr Potts continues: “We have a variety of sporting clubs and organisations that use our facility as a base of operation, and we look forward to hearing from any group looking for a ‘home’ for their activity.”
